Ordering Information
Because our subscription to the Shopping Cart service has expired, and to continue it would 
require paying for another full year's service, we have discontinued Shopping Cart ordering.
You may order via eMail, US Mail, or phone message.

email Orders:

    • List all the products, by order ID, and how many you want of each.
    • Provide your Name and billing address - the address where you get the bill for your
      credit or debit card)
    • Provide your shipping address-you can indicate that it is the same as billing, rather than entering the same address twice.
    • Provide your phone number.
    • Provide your credit/debit card information. Start by sending the last four digits,
      expiration date, and security code with your eMail order. If you are an established
      customer who has used that card with us before, you need not send the rest of the
      information. However, if you are a new customer, you'll need to send the first twelve
      digits in a separate email, sometime between a couple hours later and the next day.
      Sending credit card information in two eMails greatly reduces the chance that a hacker
      can intercept and use it.

Phone Orders:

  • If you are an established customer who has placed a credit card order with us within 
    the past two years, or if you don't mind leaving your credit card number on our
    answering machine, you may use the following procedure:
      1. Make a list of all the items and quantities you want. By having a written list, you
        won't be fumbling around trying to think of item ID numbers.
      2. Call 479-456-2888. You'll get an answering machine.
      3. Follow the instructions to place an order. When you're there, and ready to leave the
        information, be sure to speak clearly. First, leave your name and phone number.
        Remember, speak clearly. Leave the list of items you want. Tell us which credit card
        you are using (Visa, Master Card, or Discover), and what the security code is. We use
        this to insure that we'll be using the correct card.
  • If you are not an established customer, you must also leave your credit card number and expiration date, as well as your billing address (the address where you get the statement for your card).

Mail Orders:

If paying by credit/debit card, use the same procedure as above. If you need to provide 
all your credit card information, you may send it all in the same letter, or split it between two
letters as indicated above - your choice depending on how confident you are in
the security of the U.S. Postal Service. If paying by check, you need only send the list of items and quantities, and your shipping
address, along with your check.
Shipping & Handling:

Contiguous 48 states to street address:

10% ($3.50 min., $7.50 max.) will be added for shipping & handling. Shipment will be made by UPS or U.S. Postal Service, depending on the total weight, shipping distance, value, and our convenience.

United States to non-street address, such as P.O. Box:

Same as above or actual cost (including insurance) + $2, whichever is greater. Add 10% ($5 minimum): we'll refund excess.

Hawaii and Alaska:

Actual cost (including insurance) + $2. Lowest cost is by shipping US postal service or UPS Blue (2-day air).

Foreign:

Customers outside the US are responsible for all shipping and insurance charges, including duties and import/export fees. Rate is at cost + $2 for special handling. Sorry, no sales to areas where insurance is not available unless you take full responsibility, in writing, for its loss or damage during shipping.

Canada:

Code (9503.10.90.90) allows model railroad electronics to enter Canada duty free. You must still pay Canadian sales tax.

Payment Method:

United States:

Prepaid Orders: Check, Money Order, or acceptable credit card with appropriate information and signature -- Do Not Send Cash!!

Checks: Allow 5 days extra for personal checks to clear. Returned checks are subject to a $20 service charge.

Foreign:

Acceptable credit cards only. No checks or Money Orders.

Credit Cards:

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Please have credit card information ready when calling: credit card type, number, expiration date, the 3-digit security code, your name as it appears on the credit card, and the zip code of where the bill for the credit card is sent. If mailing, FAXing, or emailing your order order, be sure to include all the credit card information on the order form.

Return Policy:

Returns or exchanges must be shipped post paid (no C.O.D.) within 30 days of invoice. Merchandise must be complete in new, unused, condition with original undamaged packaging and documentation. There may be a 10% restocking charge unless we determine the fault was ours. There may be a 10% restocking charge if packaging or documentation isn't complete or is damaged. No refund on any shipping & handling charges unless the fault was ours. If item(s) damaged in shipment, save box and packaging and contact shipper.

Special Orders: 

Returns of special orders are subject to the above policy, plus manufacturer's or distributor's restocking policy -- i.e., if the manufacturer will not take it back from us, we cannot take it back from you. Cancellation of a special order is subject to shipping and restocking charges by the manufacturer or distributor.
